Engineering Diagnostics

The iCEE’s (Chiller) Engineering Diagnostic Module (iCEDM) is to provide a high-level real-time Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) and Engineering Diagnostic System (EDS) based on the critical parameters in a refrigerant cycle.  This will provide chiller operators with early warning on chiller component failures where action could be taken in a planned manner for repair and maintenance to be carried out.   These critical points are measured on a real-time basis and are compared to the permissible values the chiller should operate, taking into consideration differences due to the brand of the chiller and the refrigerant compressor types.
